Water shortages have constituted an outstanding problem for the Hospital over the years. Among the efforts made to put a definite stop to the problem were expansion of water catchment in 2009, development of new water catchment in 2011, etc. Despite these efforts, the crisis persisted during the Dry Season of 2012  (especially during the months of February through April). The bore-hole initiative is expected to put the final end to the water crisis menace as it causes tremendous setbacks to healthcare procedures.

The 50m deep hole has been drilled but the pump and tank are not yet available. These and accessories have been estimated at 13 million FCFA (25,000 Euro). Any donation towards the realisation of this priority project will be highly appreciated.
